Hi I'm misused. I've recently become very into Hearthstone and I've noticed that the market for decks is comprised of 2 things: Ljac and requests for decks. Ljac's decks are amazing and if he releases Witchwood decks definitely give them a look at his thread. His Post Nerf decks are also decent wild decks as of right now. However, most of his decks are not standard compliant and I'm trying to comprise some updates. I'm also new to this API but I've got a background in coding/sysAdmin so I'm going to be able to adapt quickly.

The main goal is to take requests on new decks and build as we go. If you see a popular deck style that's not listed here, reply with some details. The details I need to make a new deck config is a deck list, common misplays found with the standard bot running the deck, and mulligan suggestions. If possible, a Metabomb link for the deck's style would be appreciated as they go into detail the combos and downfalls of the deck.

A quick question I'd like to pose to people and get feedback on.

Odd Baku Hunter:
Duskhaven Hunter or Jungle Panther? If Duskhaven Hunter, is it always the 5/2 version or does it matter?

I'm seriously considering pushing in the next update for this config to ONLY play Duskhaven Hunter if it is in its 5/2 form. That makes it a better card when played compared to Jungle Panther but makes it harder to play as it's only 5/2 50% of the time.

First of all, thanks alot for creating this overview thread and your future adjustments to the new witchwood decks.

In my opinion, the 50% chance of being a 5-2 makes it considerable worse then a 4-2 jungle panther.

That's what I'm thinking. However, the 2/5 variant provides a bit more added beef that the deck lacks. I'll have to gather more data before getting a definite answer.

It depends on when it's drawn really. While panther is always a 4/2, if you have it in your opening hand, it'll stay that way (obviously). If you have hunter in your hand, by t3 it is now back to 2/5, t4 it's a 5/2, etc.

It's a gamble for the potential of an extra point of attack. However, it's 2/5 form gives a bit more beef if you need to clear something annoying on the board and still have a minion the following turn. Would need to test

Some quick updates from what I've seen in casual concede for Odd Baku Hunter:

- Sits at an 85% winrate in 20 games. 17 wins 3 losses
- 2 losses were to Shudderwock. The mix of taunt and mid range overwhelms the class. I honestly think this isn't a bot error this is just a fact of life that Shudderwock > Odd Baku Hunter. Shudderwock is the best deck in the game as of right now. Cubelock might be able to fight it.
- 1 loss was to a Spell Mage. Simply lost that game due to playing Hydra and becoming perma frozen.

Why this deck succeeds:
- The Mulligan, combination of 1 cost cards, and the hero power are why this deck wins
- Mulligan focuses on keeping as many 1 cost cards as we can along with Acherus Veteran. The swarm we can place on the first 3 turns really decides the game.
- Combination of 1 cost cards revolves around playing any 1 cost standalone card and then buffing it with Acherus Veteran. I don't really have an opinion on the 1 cost cards as to which is better. (Dire Mole, Emerald Reaver, Fire Fly, and Worgen Infiltrator)
- The swarm of 1 cost cards typically destroys the opposing hero to about 10-20 health depending on RNG. By then you turn into a control variant using your hero power almost every turn.
- The control revolves around 3 things: Weapon + Southsea Deckhand charge combo, Leeroy Jenkins clearing large minions, and Ironbeak Owl containing possible threats.
- Hydra is a double edged sword. It's an amazing control card. However, if you begin to run out of other options for minions or play against a mage with freeze, the Hydra does upwards 15-18 damage to your own hero.

Ideas for change:
- Save Ironbeak Owl for our own Hydra

First, welcome to the forums and bot!
I'm actually super noobie really so i cant help too much.
Glad some one else is making decks :) with the big guys stopping.

I think Panther is a safer bet tbh. But i'm not sure.
Will test this deck when I have a chance.

Today i've been running 'Odd Paladin' and having some great results. Only warlock has really destroyed me so far.

Hi Misused!

I feel that panther would be better for than deck due to its constancy.

Also, I feel that Tracking would be a good addition to the deck as it allows us to discard baku, which is a dead draw. Could you make tracking config files so that I can test it out? I seel that it is making suboptimal choices now... Thanks!

The Baku pick isn't really a downfall in this deck however I get what you're saying. The bot automatically drops it during Mulligan but still doesn't stop it.

Got any suggestions for what to replace in this deck for tracking? I'm feeling more on the side of Dire Mole but each 1 cost minion has their upsides.

I updated the Odd Baku Hunter to 0.3. Updates:
- Changed Duskhaven Hunter to Jungle Panther.
- Fixed Mulligan and other code.

MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE DUSKHAVEN HUNTER TO JUNGLE PANTHER. IT IS CHEAPER AND YOU CAN DISENCHANT DUSKHAVEN HUNTERS INTO JUNGLE PANTHERS!

For sure. Dude Paladin takes a bit more effort making configs due to the combos.

Level Up (5) + Lost in the Jungle (1) + Hero Power (2) + Vinecleaver (0). 7 Mana Combo
Level Up + Lost in the Jungle + Hero Power + Vinecleaver + Raid Leader (3). 10 Mana Combo
Marsh Drake (3) + Ironbeak Owl (3). 6 Mana Combo (Kinda overkill but you might waste a recruit killing it)
Stonehill Defender's Discover. What taunt minions do we prioritize when there's so fucking many.

Do we run clear like Hellfire or Defile? Benefits/downfalls?
How much heavy lifting does the bot do? There's only so much I can input by using configs especially with extensive combos that range from 3 to 5 cards.

It also has a dynamic goal compared to the Odd Baku Hunter which only focuses on early game burst then control cards and using hero power. Dude Paladin's goal turns into a reactionary deck that both swarms and controls. Does the bot actively take those two roles up correctly or can I make the bot take those roles correctly?

Dude Paladin also has lots of variations. Most of which I can argue all day as to why I would run Knife Juggler but then ruins the Odd Baku option. I'm definitely exploring an Odd Baku Dude Paladin. I'll have to get a deck together and see how the standard bot runs with it and tweak from there.

Yep. I'm planning on doing that in the next few hours when I get the big misplays/problems out of the deck. However, my account is already rank 4 on standard so the results will be skewed.

I would love to see some kind of warlock deck. A cubelock maybe?
They're super fun and annoying.

I'm currently running the the hunter odd deck on ranked and running well from 20 to 17 so far.
Will report status and stuff later.

UPDATE: Odd Baku Hunter 1.0

Notes:
1.0 Full Release
- Fixed bug with Ironbeak Owl where it wouldn't silence Hydra if enemy had no cards
- Fixed Mulligan to be more meta

Major bugs are fixed. This config is now a very good contender for ranked matches. Please report bugs.

All updates from here on out will be bug fixes. Updates will not come often for this deck unless I have missed something.

Need to tweak the settings. I just watched the bot pick Animal Companion over Kill Command when there was enough damage on board (+5 from kill command) to kill the opp next turn.
