@sadpwner - Yeah I expected people to want even more control with discovery but my priority was to get it working enough to handle sir finley choices which is about all I would use it for currently. I need to figure out a graceful way of integrating it with the whole board value system before expanding it to be something people rely on more.

@charis2324 - You're not even using my SF. My branch should play Councilman before other minions. The doomsayer misplay is reproducible with my branch and doomsayer is at the top of my list of things to fix.

@trazobone - common data sync misplay, I've already let Joy know that it's still a problem.

What happens if I do this in the discovery settings?

[card id],7;[own class];all
[card id],3;[own class];hunter

Card id and own class are variables.

The highest value of any matching rule is used so it would be 7 regardless of the enemy class. To make it 3 against enemy hunters and 7 against everything else you would need rules for every class, but if you wanted it to be 7 for hunter and 3 for everything else then you could use two rules like that.

@alabatusa - I didn't realize there is a limit, I'll delete some old pm's.

Can you clarify what this rule means (highlighted in bold)?

hold;all;all;Card_B+Card_C

Also, is there anyway/can you add a way to add priorities into the mulligan.

For example,

If I have

hold;warlock;pala;FP1_007+CS2_188/CS2_065

While CS2_188/CS2_065 are both valid choices for the mulligan, I would prefer to have one over the other.

That rule is invalid. It gets parsed without errors but it would only match against a card with and id of "Card_B+Card_C", if you want to hold either of them regardless if you have the other then use a comma or two rules, if you want to require them to both be in hand then use two rules with conditions for the other card like Card_B:1:Card_C and Card_C:1:Card_B.

Improving the mulligan code is a longterm goal that is going to require lots of consideration, right now I'm focused on misplays.

Turn 3, taunts the 2/1 mechwarper for some reason. The best taunt would have been on the full health mechwarper. Mechwarper to play around backstab or fan while also protecting the high damage source (spider tank).

hey, new user here. I installed silverfish se but it's not showing up in bot control options. Only 2x HSRangerCustomxyz.dll. I extracted Silverfish.7z in C:\Program Files (x86)\HearthRanger\ExternBot
I delted the previous Silverfish folder completely

edit: problem solved. had to unlock silver.dll

First of all, thank you sepe for your awsome work, but can you look at this:

I made mulligans, combo and discovery for the face shaman deck. But there are some serious misplays. some i can get rid of probably by increasing the cardvalue of some cards. I have my setting set to FACE. This is a test against Warrior AI

Ok, why does the bot decides to kill the Razorfen Hunter here? Remember I have the settings on FACE the hunter is no treat at all. It doesnt buff other cards what so ever.



Why does the bot decides to play the valueable rockbiter weapon to kill a Murloc tidehunter...yes a 2/1 murloc. I have even have a combo in my combo.txt to combo the rockbiter with the doomhammer. Maybe this can be fixed to increase the cardvalue of rockbiter a bit. But still...



Yes its a leathal turn, so win gg. But the enemy's Lords of the Arena has 2 health left. Still it decides it to kill it with the tuskar totemic. While the Abusive sergeant would be a much more efficient minion to do it with.

@sadpwner - Data sync screwed it up after the power overwhelming.

@Dre - Even with face behavior it isn't always going to go face, it just prefers face more but it still wants to protect your board. Botmaker's last build makes both of those plays too. I suppose that since we have "rush" as middle ground I could make "face" even more smorctastic if that's what people want?

How high of a penalty do you have for rockbiter in the combo? If you have it in a combo then there's not really any reason to give it a cardvalue afaict, just raise the penalty for playing it outside the combo.

The 3rd one I already explained that when it finds lethal it doesn't care how and doesn't try to find a "better" lethal, all penalties go out the window. There is a little bit of HR code that reorders lethal moves but not when there is a taunt on board like this case which I need to finish adapting with some small changes, but beyond that I won't be putting in any effort to finding better lethals.

fixed abusive sergeant misplays
slightly penalize using attack buffs on minions that can't attack
rockbiter should prefer being played with windfury (does doomhammer combo work now? I don't have any log for this)
assume mysterious challenger plays avenge too (previously only noble sac)
small extra bonus for killing priority enemies with control behavior
play around doomsayer/play own doomsayer better
play doom and classic deathwing better

I used v120.2SE just an hour ago and combo works. Even double rockbiter.

Even Face should kill some minions, in de same game it killed a Warsong Commander, which i totaly agree with, it's a card which could let get things out of hand. But a Razorfen Hunter is no treath at all. The rockbiter on the 2/1 murloc raises even more questions for me. Even without a combo, killing a 2/1 minion with a 3dmg weapon shoudnt not even be happening on control-settings imho. Let alone in face settings

Is it possible to add negative values to the discovery? For example, if I am playing zoo, I wouldn't want finley.

@Dre - Probably more like 15. There is a bonus for attacking big threats like tunnel trogg, mana wyrm, flamewaker, etc. so they should still get killed when needed.

@sadpwner - Not possible with the current system but will be when I integrate it properly into the board value system.

@anczej - Yes that is the data sync bug. Joy is working on fixing it so that HR stops sending inaccurate data while the board is updating.

@zitnik - Make sure you unlocked the files...
