Turn 8, bot misplaced the dire wolf.

Correct play should be tap->councilman on the left most->wolf between murloc and 1/10->trade->buff impgangboss and attack->leave him at 3hp to play around cabal->play flame imp on the left of councilman

I think the problem currently is that it places too much priority on buffing councilman.

Your expectations might be a bit too high.

@everyone - If you give a partial log, be sure that it has all of the turn included.

@Sepe did you see my post about the doomhamer rockbiter is still not working. Do you know what causes this? Because younfixed it in last update. Maybe iam doing something wrong. But iam using the latest version for sure. Full log in my post

@sepefeet Thanks for the description, that helps me understand how it's working.

I think we might be well served with minor penalty on AT_004 (acraneblast).

I am not sure what the code would be, and not sure how to call the spell damage total...

If p.getSpellDamageDamage(dmg) < 1 then Return 5

See what you think. IMO ai should hang onto this card. Penalty will discourage it's play in decks without spell damage, and that could be a problem, but probably not a big one.

@Dre - Again, lethal is lethal. It it finds any way for lethal then it does it, it does not try to find better lethals. Yes it's a bit of a problem but I don't see an easy way to have it look for better lethals.

@parakeet - Is arcane blast even a problem? I try to not mess with things unless I have logs to prove a misplay and to prove that my changes fix the misplay. One tip about familiarizing yourself with the code, if you're not sure about how to do something then search for similar things that probably already do it and then copy pasta what you need.

Ah, having it place the direwolf between the 1/1 and 2/1 and trading in is probably good enough.

RE: Arcane Blast Penalty

In my opinion it's a problem. It could be solved with custom deck rules, but I think a minor penalty for 2 damage Arcane Blast is reasonable. You would know best.

Killing the Undercity Huckster with Arcane Blast is pretty terrible. Especially with alternatives available. See below.

http://paste.ee/p/GXFuz

I have another 12 hours of Yogg Tempo Mage logs if we want other examples.

The thing is, I really don't. I'm sure Dre and anyone else that has played around with combos can attest that it is a lot of guesswork to figure out bonuses/penalties that are just enough but not too much. Blatant misplays are the easiest to fix because you can throw a large penalty at it and it's done but the subtle ones require precision so that you don't swing too far the other direction.

The 1 log should be fine but just to let everyone know I'm working on a new feature so everything else is on hold for a bit.

Sorry Sepe, I was indeed curious if this was because of leathal or another reason :)

Update on the Agro shaman Deck; iam going trough about 40 logs atm, iam close to get it to rank 5ish. On rank 10 now 55% wr. Will update the files in this weekend probably.

That's great to hear Dre! I have a Midrange Shaman deck I have been working on. I am currently at Rank 6 (3 Stars) with it, and a win rate of 55% (100+ games). Let me know if you want me to post the details.

Update: I just hit Rank 5 with a win steak.

great to hear, see you posted your details very nice contribution! I know mid-range will probbaly allot better for the bot then the agro-face. But iam just stuborn and want to have it working hehe.

Atm i dont have to much time and i put it all in the agro shaman. But iam 100% sure i can make revamp atleast zoo-warlock and mid-range-hunter to get them to rank 5. Maybe you can take one of them as next project ;) There is a good base in the forum post where my pre-exp rank 5 decks are. edit Link to forum with files

I should have some time in the coming weeks to take on one of those decks as a new project. Do you have a preference to which I focus on?

Since we can use the _discovery now for dark pebler i think zoo-lock might be rly awesome. Watching trump last night playing zoolock in #100 legend. His version is without Doomguard and with leeroy and a giant. But the meta says doomguard is better. Anyway there is a cardvalue rule in the combo of my old files which is pretty well balanced. Decklist has to be adjusted a little bit anyway to make it ideal with bot.
