Hi again Sir oijkn, thank you for the immediate response, I have double checked everything, (every file needed was there) and all were unblock already but still the problem persist. (wait for board..) on Silver.exe

by reading through the previous post, there was this guy who had the same problem and Mr. botmaker told him to reload the "silver.dll" which fixed it.

I apologize for being ignorant and such but how do you reload the dll file? If it means downloading the updated file of it I already did.

Try to redownload all files needed for silverfish and see if it's work good. Perhaps you have a old or bad dll file.

Had the same issue...I changed in the settings.txt ...

useExternalProcess = false;

to

useExternalProcess = true;

Perhaps it's the same for you.


By the way botmaker a big thank you for providing this AI, its really nice! Like Leap already said, it would great if you could implement some randomness, regarding the movements. Because it's really easy to detect the bot with that monotone movements.

Anyway keep up the great work!! :)

Of course you need to set it to true in the settings file otherwise it don't use the silver.exe

Nevermind, made it work!

The thing was, settings was already a txt file and I named it "settings.txt" instead of just "settings".

Yeah, I'm dumb.

Well, I'm liking it, altough have some missplays with Thuzad and spare parts...

I know it's a work in progress so, I'm happy. Thanks for sharing it.

Sometimes, as mage, it pings an own minion that have 1 health o.O

Like, Clockwowk Gnome. It puts it and Fireblasts it. Just to get the Spare part??

Just reporting a bug.

And, as I mentioned earlier, it doesn't play KT well.. I don't know about other legendaries because I don't have them xD

I just wanted 2 say that i have 70% win rate on a cheap mid range mage deckk and just hit rank 9 with this new AI

if you want to report a bug/missplay then i need your logs!
(i will ignore all bugreports without a log-file, because the ai's decisions are basing on to many parameters!)
you will find the logfile (each match has an own file, with a timestamp of the match-start in its name)
in the Hearthranger/ExternBot/silverfish/UltimateLogs -folder!

the name of that log-file is looking like this: UILogg_YYYY-MM-DD_hh-mm-ss

if you dont want to search the current misplay in that log, just upload the whole log and post/send me the whole log,
and please give the round/time where the missplayed happened (like "in round 3" OR "at start of the game") + a short description
what happened and what should the ai do instead.

i realy need those files... i dont want your pictures!

thats difficult... i dont have a "good" board to test, just too big/unreal ones, to test performance changes myself. if you encounter a "nice" and big board (lots of minions on board + lots of (cheap) cards in your hand + 10 mana to use) send me the uilogg-file, so i can create one.
the problem is that the calculation-time growth exponential (to fast) with available options (attacking with minions, cards on hand), so on small boards your will not notice any performance issues.

This happened prior to updating to the latest version so it may be resolved. Ran into an issue in which I had a shade of naxxramas and a sludge belcher out and the bot refused to attack an enemy hero which had no secrets or minions on the table. I've run into the issue twice so far and both times I had minions other than those two who would not attack as well. When I just have a sludge belcher or just a shade it doesn't happen.
