hey, i'm trying to use the silverfish module but i've a problem, when i start silverfish.exe it will stuck into "wait for board..." and nothing happens, anyway the bot itself continue working but i'm not sure which kind of decisions he is making (his ones? silver.dll ones? silverfish with a graphic bug ones?)i obviously popped up "use extern bot: true" on settings and "use extern module: silverfish.dll" on heartranger.
any suggestions or tips??

silverfish.exe has some issues with hearthranger 3.0 however the dll still works fine.
If you're obstinate about getting silverfish.exe working than try using an earlier version of hearthranger.

Same for me but i nevermind. Bot still do my dailys and played from rank 18 to 14 today. So its fine for me

U got this "wait for board" text all the time or after every turn?

Did you active it in the Settings.txt file ?

They did.

AFAIK the Silverfish shipped with HR does not support the external process setting.
Try the one from silverfish update thread and report back if this one works.

i tried with the default one, then with the updated one (in a thread somewhere in this forum), and even with the new patch (from today i think); it stay in waiting for board, like if he doesn't read the game process; anyway from the log i can see HR ask for silver.dll to make his move, my question is:
is silverfish.exe really important to perform or silver.dll alone can handle it?

(i changed settings.txt like "howtouse" and you explained me, but nothing)

You can just use silver.dll if you don't know how to tune it.

I recommend you to use default A.I., since how to tweak silverfish is too complicated for newbie.

thank you for answer but really, it doesn't seem about "how to tun" it's more like "it doesn't read the board"
