Hey there. Its me again :)

As I live in Germany, the language settings of my PC are german. This is detected by the bot and everything works fine. But i like to play Games in english. But when I change the games language to english the bot still checks for the german terms. For example: The bot isn´t able to push the "play" button because its not called "spielen" as the bot expects.

Would be great if You could add an option where the user can select which language the game is set.
For example: language: 1. use PC language 2. english 3. german 4. spanish

I think this would solve al LOT of compatibility issues of Your foreign language customers, because nearly all good deck building guides are in english. So nearly everyone I know plays the game in English to get the english card names to make it easier to use the english guides.

Using german Windows7 and bnet+HS in english with no problems so far.
Bot is checking for "play" button.

There could be some kind of weird caching mechanism.
Did you restart the bot after language change?
Did you restart bnet?
Did you restart PC?

Yes i tried all this. Stays german. Seems like the bot checks the client language and saves it. But my language folder in the Hearthranger directory is empty :(
Additional i might have to say, that I´m running win 8.1.
When I first startet hearthranger the game language was English and the launcher language German. And now the bot allways checks for the german terms. No matter which changes I apply to game language or launcher language or both at same time.

You can try to delete and redownload the bot to get rid of any caching from the bot.

There is some cached data from bnet and HS in your userdir.
(win7 paths, AppData is hidden!)
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Battle.net
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Blizzard\Hearthstone

The last folder may contain a file "text_deDE.cache".
But I don't know if the bot reads them.

Tried now in following order:

game language and battle.net launcher language english

start hearthranger launcher in admin mode -> download all files new -> update -> did not work (checking for "Spielen")

delete app data local temp -> delete hearthranger folder -> redownload hearthranger from website -> unpack -> did not work (checking for "Spielen")

delete app data local battle.net, bliztzard, blizzard entertainment -> delete hearthranger folder -> unpack hearthranger -> did not work (checking for "Spielen")

Tested it now on my tower PC at home. Also running Win 8.1.

Status at beginning: Battle.net and heroes of the storm installed both in german. Hearthstone was not installed.

1. changed battle.net language to English
2. deleted app data local blizzard and battle.net folders
3. installed Hearthstone
4. downloaded and configured bot
5. works.

During the installation in the install window it said: default language English !!! maybe this is the key, the bot checks for. I´ll reinstall hearthstone on my tablet and report.

so the problem is not the system language :)

but now the bot ends turn emidtiately until it has 6 mana. Then it starts playing and loses of course every game

EDIT: works perfect. The gaming PCs CPU is much faster then the tablet ones. So I had to reduce all mouse speeds to 1 to be not faster then the game recognizes.

Glad to hear that the bot is working now. Enjoy it. ;)

Thanks for sharing your solution with us so other users can find it (IF they search;)).

@JoyAdmin: Any idea why this happened? Do we need english bnet?

Reinstalled hearthstone on my tablet. Works perfect.

The key, that decides, which language the bot plays in is the default language of the game. The defaul language cant be changed. It matches the battle.net language when the game is installed.
