It's working, if it's interrupted by your logon, it'll try to play it for you 6 hours later.

Does it prioritize play with heroes that don`t have 1000 wins in ranked ?

EDIT: anyway to reconnect it without waiting 6 hours ?

It prioritizes to clear daily/weekly quests.
If it's interrupted by you, it has lower priority in play than you.
