- Upload your hearthranger bot play video to youtube, it needs to show it's played by bot, like demo of deck loader/composer on download page.

This seems like a cool idea and I appreciate the sentiment for a potential free account, but do you think this is wise Joy? Asking several users to upload video content of software in action that Blizzard explicitly does not want used on their games seems like it would greatly increase the odds a banwave like the one that hearthcrawler got around this time last year.

The Hearth Ranger community is grateful for your devotion to our family.

I have created a separate account from my main for this post in order to express my feelings without self-moderation.
I am a Lifetime paying user and have been a part of the community for a long while.

I feel that the nature of this event will increase our community size and productivity in the short run.
However, it is my STRONG opinion that the Hearth Ranger Bot Video Event is not a smart call and actually may lead to the end of our community.
I do not feel comfortable envisioning that a mass of this community will be banned from Hearthstone due to publicity derived from this event.

It would be a great benefit to us all if the event were based on the creation of: guides, softwares, tutorials, or other similar content.

Agree as a new user who paid for a month for the intent to if happy go for lifetime, now when my time runs down i might have to wait a while, the attention isn't likely to be good, and might be picked up by streamers who then could pass it directly onto blizzard, it might be more round about but if people against their use make a big enough fuss its more likely blizzard will do something, and since streamers are the face of the game (and many play and host tournaments) youtube seems like a bad call.

I hope it works out though.
