Bot using Demonheart incorrectly

Every so often, the bot will use the card Demonheart (deal 5 damage. if the target is a demon gain +5/+5) incorrectly by targeting my own non-demon minions and killing them. I'm assuming the bot is not checking whether or not the target allied minion is a demon or not
