Hey guys, what's up.

The idea of this topic is solving my questions, but you may want the same answers.

I want to know how many wins you guys generally get when you let the bot play Arena.

But to answer this, I want to know:

1. What class you went

2. if you build the deck yourself or let the bot do

3. Wich deck rules you used

I'll will start posting my experiments below. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF GUYS FOLLOW THE MODEL

RESULT: 1-3

CLASS: Shaman

DECK BUILT BY: Me

DECK RULES USED: "Arena" 1st = lost / default 2nd = lost / rush 3rd & 4th = win & lost

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

RESULT: 2-3

CLASS: Shaman

DECK BUILT BY: Bot

DECK RULES USED: Silverfish

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

RESULT: 2-3

CLASS: Paladin

DECK BUILT BY: Me

DECK RULES USED: Default 1st = lost / sample shaman 2nd = lost / silverfish 3,4,5 = win, win, lost

Yeah, I know a lot of people do that.

But this is if you want the bot to play Arena for you. So I want to see other people results too and by doing that we all can get the best config for the Arena bot.

Deck manually with http://ru.arenavalue.com/
AI default with http://www.hearthranger....e-Set--06-Jan-2015.aspx
Use on mage, rogue, paladin.
Results 1/3 or 2/3.

The problem with Arena is that it's so different from constructed play, I think you need to program specifically for the Arena for it to work decent.

It would be amazing if anyone could manage to get a bot that averages 7+ wins, since that's what I'm trying to learn doing myself. :) Outside of bots I can recommend HearthArena, it helps you out with the draft and points out synergies.

Really? I've never had to queue.

But this sounds like a cool project, together maybe we can get deck rules that work to average a decent amount of wins. But I feel like it's going to be really hard since the decks are so different each time, and a different hero often too. Does anyone have a good idea on how to solve that problem?

Hmm that is interesting. I picked the cards out manually and then let the bot run and I got 7 wins. I am going to test this method out right now. :)
EDIT: It draws good and got me 4 wins as Paladin, will test out some more.
