v.2.4.0.0 - Better bot.

- Improved A.I.

Now bot's a.i. algorithm parameters are re-tuned, it works better than before.

- Improved arena draft logic.

Auto draft logic has been improved.

- Support GvG cards mulligan.

Now bot can replace GvG cards in mulligan phrase.

- Internal error bugs fix.

Some bugs fixed to avoid bot player internal error.

[Edit: Update to v.2.4.1.0]
A bug fixed which may cause hearthranger.exe crash in some cases.


- You're welcome to report GvG card miss-play, we'll fix it soon.

How to update manually?

Start [Launcher.exe] at Hearthranger directory, then click [UPDATE] button.

Dang another update! You guys rock! But one question, whenever I play a minion that gives minions next to it x, instead of playing it in the middle of two it just plays it off to the side. Not sure if this is fixable but nonetheless thanks for the update!
EDIT: wow you updated that way faster than I thought and it's fixed! One more small change could also be spare parts. I've had lethal a few times with a +1 attack but the bot doesn't use them. Besides that thanks again for the quick updates !

Latest v.2.4.1.0 may solve most of the cases you mentioned.

this particular version making hearthstone to hang (asking to send error report to blizzard). at least 2 times already in last hour.

several times the bot attack the other player with a creture and then use a pump spell like ''mark of the wild'' on the creature that just attacked, insted of using the spell before to deal more damage.

Stop playing and just use hero power and pass.
Algorithm result: none forever in unraked games

U need to test this with hunter bro. Please

And the bot seems like ignoring timber wolf and hienas sometimes

Same with Druid - plays only hero ability and skips turn.
With hunter doesn't play at all - taps cards and creatures and waits until time runs out.

This is since 2.1 version and still is not fixed

OK just tested shaman with the same deck that it was getting up to RANK 11 in version 1.80.
All bot does now - it plays totems.

Bot rarely plays 1 or maximum 2 cards during all game. Keeps playing special ability all the time.

Deck rule is set to default.

P.S. Tested with and without enchanced AI. No difference.

Any ideas?

Same here with hunter. I think it's a general bug

Can you tell me the following information?

1.Your Windows OS (xp/vista/7/8/10 32/64 bit)
2.Your display resolution of desktop and game.
3.Do you run hs game in windows mode?
4.Do you have multi-displays?

1. Windows 7 64-bit
2. 1920 x 1080 display
3. After GvG update HS window minimizes when inactive, so I started running it in window mode, resolution is about 1024x768
4. no, only one.

I'm using a basic walock zoo deck(no rares yet) and got 65% win rate. Thank you for the awesome work.

And i'm using it on window mode in 1024x768 and its working fine. But i have tested just with the warlock.
I just noticed that the bot do little missplay sometimes when i have minions in board and soulfire in hand, sometimes even if the enemy minion have 4 health, he first trade with my minion, and then use the soulfire, When he could just use the soulfire.

I think this bot is just working with warlock.

Did now a 0-3 rogue arena with this amazing improved A.I
