Hello Fellow Botters,

Just curious what people are using to run Hearthranger. Anyone out there using something really over the top, like an i9-7980xe? XD

I myself run Hearthranger on an 1600x, OC'd to 3.9, a 1050ti, and 8 gb of 2666-DDR4 ram. It does okay but once there are more than three or so minions on my side of the board, I get quite a bit of roping.

What has been your experience?

i7-4790k
2x 970 Asus Strix

Using 4 cpu 8 thread in settings
Same here, once having 3/4+ minions it barely finishes in time before round is over.

Btw bot only uses 1024mb ram =)

biggest problem with roping is when bot does a trade, and spawns another minion (in case of deathrattle, or something else) it will try to recalculate the board for remaining moves.

You can get around it by disabling syncboard in config file, the bot will never recalculate the board after change state. But it could create misplays (or less optimal plays)

Im running 3570k @ 4.2Ghz ,16gb ram, My config file only change allow for 4GB ram to be consumed (but it never does)

The bot doesnt rope too often in my opinion unless it recalculates board at least once. Even when it ropes, i would say 95% of the time, it will finish it's moves before time is up.
