[v.10.6.7.0] [🐛] CRASH ON START
If I open HR It opens telling me there is a new update in the yellow... I update and everything go's well. But then when I click on the start button this happens:
*Form closes
*Error form pop's up
HearthRanger.exe - This application could not be started.
"This application could not be started.
Do you want to view information about this issue?"
*Clicks on yes
*go's to a Microsoft Website...
Shim errors for the .NET Framework version and platform support
Applies to: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
Error: "You must enable the .NET Framework from the Windows Features dialog box"
This application could not be started. You must enable the .NET Framework from the Windows Features dialog box (from Control Panel, choose Programs, Turn Windows features on or off).
This issue occurs because the app is not configured in a way that makes it possible to determine the appropriate version of the .NET Framework runtime. The corresponding shim code is SHIM_GOTO_CONTROLPANEL.
To resolve it, enable the .NET Framework 3.5 which is an operating system feature on Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Solved: Delete Hearthranger.exe and start the launcher in order to download the updated exe file
PS: No it's not... after reboot HR starts automatically saying again that it cannot run due to the error stated above...
Now I always need to delete the .EXE file and redownload it via the launcher...

Still having to delete the Hearthranger.exe file every time I want to run it.
Delete like in: Remove Hearthranger.exe and let the launcher download it again in order to succescully run the program...
Every time I boot my system...

Every time I press the power button of my bot laptop it begins booting. the automatic mouse-click macro begins by clicking on play in the blizzard launcher after some time. Then HearthRanger auto starts as set by me on boot. Every time I get this error and every morning I need to delete HearthRanger.exe so the Launcher.exe can download the exe file again... EVERY DAY!
Am I the only one having this problem?
