I've seen a lot of misplays and I've heard that slower machines will make more misplays. Are there ways to make the bot run longer and do better plays, or are the misplays just because of bad code?

I have a Ryzen 1700X, which should be fast enough.

In essence, the config files are of vital importance in the decision making process of your bot. Make sure you have the most updated ones.
Also, it depends on what deck you're playing -
- Cubelock is too tough
- Any Control deck will not work
- Kingsbane Rouge will not work

Try and use an aggro deck like murloc pally, which got rank 6 last season with Ljac's deck. The misplays are limited because it's just SMorc
