I have an i7 and 16 gigs of ram, yet when I run HR the game begins to lag massively. Am I doing something wrong?

Can you check your system's anti-virus software settings?

Anti-virus software may do lots of check while HR is operating the game.

Had this problem and fixed it with a friends help just today. Uninstalled hearthstone, uninstalled bnet desktop app, ran a defrag on the drive it was installed on, reinstalled app then hearthstone. Working great now. Was roping out every game with massive lag before i did this. Try it out, it might fix it for you as well!
