hello.
i am currently trying hearthranger. free.
i watch it play.

on way too many ocasions is acts very stupid.
like...
it will not play cards in the order that makes for a useful combination.
or it will try to play a card that cannot be played at that time.

it is actually funny, i was laughing after the last couple games.

for example...
the bot first played a spell, then played a flamewaker.
bot wants to kill one enemy with 1 HP, doesnt use fireblast, but a spell!
then with my rogue.. i just lost it there. enemy hero has 4hp and no secrets, i got 10hp no minions, opponent has three simple minions with 12 attack combined. so i equiped my weapon... equiped some poison... and attacked the fuckin minion! wtf XD

i figured... i'll just build the simples deck i can find, and hopefully it will play well. lets see :\

Welcome to the forum!

I guess you use the default A.I.?

Please change the A.I. to silverfish ( Link: https://github.com/slive...R/Silverfish.7z?raw=true ) and check this guide ( Link: http://www.hearthranger....stom-files-and-more.aspx ).

Its adviced to use specific mulligan, combos and discover files specificly fitted for the deck you want to use (you can see in the guide how to setup these).


You can find some good decks here ( Link: http://www.hearthranger....7491_Project-Rank-5.aspx ).

For example Dres Midrangehunter got me to rank 1 this season.

Just try it out and good luck!

i got the AI, but your other two links are dead.

i tried it.
i let it play 2 games with my druid.

it's having problems with the druid of the flame card. it summons it, then immediately tries to play it, and keeps trying... eventually time runs out.
it also does not attack with the hero power. it just uses it, gains 1 armor, but wastes the 1 attack for that round, even though it could easily attack the enemy hero without getting hurt.
there might be more, but thats all i saw from two games.

Did you installed the silver.dll correctly? If you did it well a command window opens when you hit the play button of the bot.

yes installed it like the instructions in the readme said
changed the line from false -> true, then opened the bot, then the ran the a.i. exe
the command window is open while the bot is botting.

maybe i have to reinstall it, maybe something went wrong here.
i'll le tyou know as soon as i find time to do so :)

By ai.exe I hope you are referring to HearthRanger.exe . You do not need to run any other exe. And yes, silverfishe's command window will be visible, you can minimize it.

i mean i chose the ai profile from the options. its all good :)
