I have been using silverfish until now. Transferring to default ai I was wondering about this fast Ai mode. What is it exactly and when are we supposed to use it?
Also: Will the bot rope if I put my settings to high, or will it auto scale down if it runs out of time?

Fast A.I. mode can prevent bot from roping out, but also it will produce less best moves.
