Start [Hearthranger_Init_Helper.exe] with administrator privilege, it will guide you to solve this issue automatically.


----------------BELLOW IS OLD POST-----------------

After downloading full package and extract it to your local disk,

you already run hearthranger bot as administrator,

but bot only uses hero power or doesn't play card at all during your turn,

please unlock all dll and exe files under hearthranger folder and sub folders, like bellow:

unlock file sample


Or you can download the full package via other browser like Chrome, Firefox.

Windows will block all downloaded dll/exe files if you download it via IE by default.

Also you can change your windows group policy, then re-download the full package.

How to change related windows group policy?

Run [ gpedit.msc ] by command, then disable the following configuration:

disable block downloaded files

How can I unlock all dll and exe files please help me <3 :)
I get this problem and as i freaking love hearthranger I would really want to make it work

You have to do it one by one if your system has turn zone information ON.

I did everything here ( i unlocked the dll and .exe by setting the "unlock" into the zip file. ) but it still not working.

If it still not works, you may need to check:

1. Your game's screen resolution, run it in window mode.

2. You need to run hearthranger as administrator.

3. Your anti-virus software doesn't block hearthranger to operate hearthstone game (hearthstone.exe).

i did put it on disable on gpedit but it doesn't show the unblock button...

Changing from fullscreen to window mode worked for me. Otherwise bot keeps ending turn not playing card.

i unlocked ExternBot i play hearthstone in window mode and silverfish still no work.

Can someone please explain this to me?
My Bot keeps not playing anything in several turns (not all turns, but most turns). Doesn't even use hero power, simply pass the turn, not even attacking with the minions that it has on the board already.

What does it mean to "unlock all dlls"? Can someone please make a step-by-step on this? I have no idea what this "miranda" application is or where to get it. It is not in my HearthRanger folde, anyway.

Appreciate any help!

Miranda is a different program and in my opinion a poor choice to demonstrate because it will only confuse people.
What you need to do: Go into the folder where your bot is located. And then right-click every single .dll and .exe file that you can find (even sub-folders). Every time choose "Properties" and "Unblock" at the bottom. Then click "ok". After you have done that to like 10 files you are set up :)

You can unblock all dll and exe files with a simple script, no need to do this manually every time you update silverfish etc.

download:

stream.exe
from
https://technet.microsof...p;MSPPError=-2147217396

Then place it in the hearthranger folder.
Then create a batch file (next to stream.exe) and write this code:

Quote:

CD /D "%~dp0"

"%~dp0\streams.exe" -s -d *.dll
"%~dp0\streams.exe" -s -d *.exe


then run the batch file, it might need to run with admin rights.

There are many tutorials how to make batch files if you are unfamiliar with this.
