The bot sometimes spends the entire turn "working" but never actually plays a card or attack anything. Then it will play cards like normal on the next turn.

also have this problem, was using the bot in arena and noticed it would just repeat this

TransitStateMachineFromPlayInGame
botplayer is working..
TransitStateMachineFromIdle
TransitStateMachineFromPlayInGame

I then tried it in ranked mode and had the same problem so i had to switch over to silverfish

I had the same proplem, edite the BotControlOption and choose a AI and it should work

It happens when you have more than 5 minions on board when using silverfish AI, it happens when you have 4 or more minions when using silverfish AI + Silver.exe

Hello,

I'm new here, I searched for topics related to the problem and this was the closest one I could find.
I was using a Hunter on the "DeckRules_Default.xlsx" option, and these are a few of the problems I'm observing:
1-It never uses the coin.
2-Many times, it won't play everything it can (like, for example, it will have 4 mana, and will only play 1 minion that cost 2 mana, and skip the; it won't play the other 2 mana minion that is at hand, and it won't even use hero power!)
3-Many times, it won't use the a weapon. It plays a minion, and, with 3 mana left, won't equip a weapon nor use hero power; simply play the minion, and skip turn.

This way, the winning rate is simply <3%.
So... what am I doing wrong? =(

I've also tried a Mage. Same behaviour.

Silverfish AI is your only other option as far as deckrules, or you could try your hand at making your own rules with a few templates and guides here on the forums. Good luck and do yourself a favor--don't use the bot for arena or you'll waste gold hand over fist.

The Silverfish AI solved my problem. Thank you! =)
I didn't know what people meant by "Silverfish" before, that's why I hadn't tried it yet. I did some searching after you reply, and everything is working fine now.
